What you can expect from every page on this site.
Sources
Food values come from USDA FoodData Central and are stored once in our food database; every page and calculator reads from that one source, so numbers cannot drift between pages. Health claims link to government or peer-reviewed sources at the bottom of each article.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft, summarise sources and check consistency. We do not publish AI-written text without review, we do not invent experts or credentials, and we do not use AI to generate food values.
Medical review
Our content is educational and is not reviewed by a physician unless a page says so explicitly. Health topics carry clear guidance on when to speak to a clinician.
Updates and corrections
Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. If you find an error, email hello@ketora.site and we will correct it and update the date.
Commercial independence
We do not accept payment for product placement and do not use affiliate links in our guides. Ketora earns money from optional Pro subscriptions to the app.
