Keto Hot Chocolate
Rich, creamy hot chocolate made with 85% dark chocolate, cream and almond milk — about 7 g net carbs per mug, with no sugar.
Serves 2 (2 mugs) · Prep 2 min · Cook 5 min
Ingredients
- 360 ml unsweetened almond milk
- 80 ml heavy cream
- 30 g 85% dark chocolate, chopped
- 1–2 tbsp powdered erythritol or allulose to taste (no net carbs counted), ½ tsp vanilla, pinch of salt; optional cinnamon
Method
- Warm the almond milk and cream in a small pan until steaming. Do not boil.
- Take off the heat, add the chocolate and leave for 1 minute.
- Whisk until smooth and frothy, then add sweetener, vanilla and salt to taste.
- Pour into mugs. Top with whipped cream if you like.
Tip. The chocolate provides most of the carbs, so 90% chocolate or unsweetened cocoa brings them down further.
